Franz Josef Wöstmann is an internationally recognized engineer with over two decades of experience in foundry technology and mobility research. As the founder of Cast Coil GmbH, he is driving forward the development of a new generation of electric drives – with the aim of realizing more energy-efficient and resource-saving solutions for electromobility. Prior to this, he headed the Foundry Technology and Lightweight Construction department at Fraunhofer IFAM, where he was responsible for the Mobility business unit.
